the weekend cocoa, honey, and oat facial mask
As mentioned in my previous article on chocolate research, the flavanoids/compounds found in dark chocolate have been found to benefit many areas of the body– and now, not just when digested.
As more health, beauty, and skincare products emerge with cocoa as a spotlighted ingredient, here’s a nourishing facial mask you can make at home with stuff you already probably have in your kitchen, especially in time for the holidays.
This face mask will leave your skin smooth, softer, and will be active in fighting against fine lines and wrinkles! Score, score, score.
Grab-1/3 cup cocoa powder, 1/4 cup honey, and 2 tablespoons Greek yogurt, and 3 tablespoons of quick oats.
- Mix and blend all of these ingredients into one large bowl until you get a smooth, cake batter-like consistency.
- Clean your face, dry thoroughly, and apply the mask to your face, omit eyes and lips, of course.
