So this is what I am
Pondering his eyes that could not
Conceive that I was a creature to run from
I who have always believed too much in words…
You think you are not ready for love, but it is ready for you.
So, per usual human being behavior, you go against fate and withdraw. You choose the path that appears easier to conquer, less challenging, with minimal boundaries to overcome.
Discovering love personified, everything you had ever imagined in an actual body standing right beside you, can be incredibly beautiful. But while beautiful, it may still evoke your sense of fear of the unknown. It typically does. No matter how many times you have fallen in love before, each moment can be different from the last. The level of consciousness, wisdom, and awareness your soul is at this very moment has more than likely aged since the last time you felt such a burning passion of desire, hope, and interest.
Chances are, you’ve heard that saying before: “If you love something, let it go–if it comes back, it was meant to be.”
But then you’ve asked yourself, If it is so good, why must I let it go?
We don’t control our fate. But as humans, we still try.
Sometimes it is easy to make ourselves the star of the universe–after all, we’ve been tasked with the duties of breathing, waking, walking, sleeping, eating, talking, and doing for the vehicle that is our own unique body; therefore, we may get caught up in the idea that the universe is in fact, surrounding us. We think ourselves the center of the Earth–everything and everyone subconsciously caters to us.
We tend to easily forget that we are here in order to fulfill a duty of a being much greater than us. We are, in fact, serving this unseen entity–He or She already knows what our next steps are. But because of Free Will, we choose to create our own path.
Love is not inanimate. It cannot come with presumptions.
It is too unpredictable–having expectations is deadly. Whenever you open your eyes, you have already expected to see. You do not think about it, you do not put any effort into lifting your eyelids; you just see because it is natural. You accept what is before you to visualize.
Whenever you open your heart, you allow yourself to be vulnerable to something unexpected and wonderful and possibly damaging. You are essentially risking everything you have ever known before this moment of letting down the glass door which will allow you to sense and touch the bliss that comes with new love.
Your memory of past experiences will hurt you if you let them interfere with a new, fresh experience.
This especially applies to love. Take the best of each past creation and throw it into your present blend with a focus on progression and more openness to riding a wave. Do not let your fears fight the current.
Know that you are literally a spectacle of diamond dust in a world of magnificence. All of these things and people were created from what was once love.
Like I mentioned earlier, love is alive. It is not inanimate. It can weaken, it can eventually die. It can be reborn. It is rare. Once you receive it, reciprocate. It may go away forever–wandering off to its new path of comfort. You may never have another chance to acknowledge its glimmer and rarity.
