The Healthy New Year’s Resolution I’ve Kept For a Year!

Last year I gave up drinking alcohol on perhaps one of the hardest days one could do so: New Year’s Eve.

I didn’t know how long I would be able to keep my New Year’s Resolution. However, it wasn’t nearly as trying as I thought it would be. With intentions of following the social media trend at the time hashtagged #SoberJanuary, I actually committed to the idea of staying completely sober and clean for an entire year. New Year’s Day 2018 market my one-year anniversary and I couldn’t be more proud of myself. I just got out of the hospital after 12 days of complications related to my chronic illness, Takayasu’s Arteritis.
