Last year I gave up drinking alcohol on perhaps one of the hardest days one could do so: New Year’s Eve.
I didn’t know how long I would be able to keep my New Year’s Resolution. However, it wasn’t nearly as trying as I thought it would be. With intentions of following the social media trend at the time hashtagged #SoberJanuary, I actually committed to the idea of staying completely sober and clean for an entire year. New Year’s Day 2018 market my one-year anniversary and I couldn’t be more proud of myself. I recently teamed up with Healthline to give you the best advice I could regarding quitting alcohol for good. You can check it out here.
I just got out of the hospital after 12 days of complications related to my chronic illness, Takayasu’s Arteritis. Please assist me in share my story to anyone who may be willing to listen or lend a helping hand. Visit my gofundme page for more information and follow me on social media @devrivelazquez for updates on my progress. Stay tuned and thank you for all of your endless support and compassion.
