I’m a 20-something year daughter to a brilliantly beautiful Black woman and a courageous Mexican and Italian father.
In 2011, I was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease and type of vasculitis called Takayasu’s Arteritis (or Takayasu’s Vasculitis). Since then, I have learned a tremendous amount of lessons. Through my journey I strive to show people the light in all things good on this Earth. I have found it necessary to express my faith in both awareness and survival through my writing, speaking, and actions.
In my spare time I find joy in thrifting/collecting vintage fashion items, traveling, and all things music and art. There’s beauty in everything we do and every place we go. One of my duties is to acknowledge the importance of this beauty.
My professional background includes doing public relations, editorial, and social media managing work for major advertising, medical, entertainment brands. Currently I am junior content editor & writer for NaturallyCurly.com.
For me, God is my protector, my healer, and at the end of the day… this is all for Him. I am HONORED to be a walking testament to His truth.
